Snug as a Bug

Things haven't changed much from yesterday. Brody is continuing to do well without any air. They have taken out his IV, so the only thing he has is his feeding tube. The nurse told me today that that was awesome for not even being two weeks old. I do have to prepare myself though, because he could increase the number of spells and may have to go back on. But so far, so good.

Andrew and I both went to Urgent Care yesterday and are on antibotics. Hopefully this will do the trick so we are able to hold our little guy again and do his cares. It is hard to be so hands-off, but soon enough we will be well again.

Cares consisit of:
-changing his diaper
-taking his temperature
-switching his oxygen monitor
-swabbing his mouth

Andrew and I both very much enjoy being able to help with Brody and we are definitely learning a lot about how to care for our little guy. We love him to pieces.

  1. He looks so wise!!!! That's so cool that you both get to help/do the cares. Hope you both feel better soon - glad you were able to get some meds. Hugs!
