Brody...

• Is growing like a weed and now weighs a little over 7 lbs.
• Has had 2 Dr. appointments. Dr. Schutte, Brody's pediatrician, is very pleased with his growth and weight gain. We will go back in a month for a weight check and then again in another month for his 4 month appointment (4 months...I can't believe it!)
• Visited the eye doctor last week. He still has mild ROP, which is common in preemie babies. The Dr. wants to check it again in a few weeks to make sure it is not getting worse. She informed me that he still may have it and that because he is older, we would not need to worry about it...whew.
• Will have his first Early Access visit tomorrow. Early Access is associated with Heartland AEA and is a service offered to preemie babies from birth until 3 years of age. They come to your home and monitor the baby's growth and development as well as offer ideas on how to help your baby grow.

We are just amazed at how much little Brody has changed and grown in just 9 weeks. He is such a special little boy!
