I am getting so big!

Brody passed his 90 minute car seat test!

My buddy Asher and me. Asher was born at 25 weeks

and is currently 38 weeks. After 80+ days in the NICU,

he gets to go home soon too!

Brody is continuing to work on eating. The part of his brain that controls the sucking, swallowing, and breathing is still underdeveloped. So he can suck, swallow, and breathe, but just not all at the same time. Sometimes he does really well and other times he forgets to breathe. We are working on pacing him while he eats, which is going well. The nurse made this reference today, "It is like an adult running up a flight stairs while trying to drink from a water bottle. This is what it is like for Brody trying to learn how to eat." Wow. I am amazed at what this little guy can do.
